These are great quality boots.

"These are great quality boots. The chassis, wheels, bearings and all are a great combo for this level of skate. My gripe is with the padding, especially at the seam of the plastic toe to the tongue. Holy cow that thing presses right into my foot, and aggressively. I've worn missions 6. 5 fit 2, and felt like I had plenty of room in those for my feet. I scanned my feet prior to getting these skates but deecided to order them online without doing a test fit. I've baked them, and have skated a few times with them. These skates are significantly tighter in every way. And I feel a little jaded knowing I ordered the same fitting, but received such different fitting results. Just be smarter than me and test the skate before buying it despite the correct fit size."

"Great skates very happy with them, feel very solid and sturdy great power transfer especially for a big guy, 6’1” 250lb I don’t feel them flex under me at all. Don’t like the bearings they came with but I just roll with my old bearings and wheels anyway!"

Break in period for me

"Break in period for me was only 3 games (I did not bake them) and now they feel more comfortable than the old Bauer Vapor X2. 9's I had to retire. Not inexpensive but well worth it so far."

"Let me start by saying: Don’t ever try to buy high-end gear from www.purehockey.***. My order got canceled five times just because my shipping address was different from my billing address. On top of that, they charge you extra for expedited shipping but can’t even deliver on the basics. Then I ordered directly from Bauer’s website, and let me tell you it was fast and easy. 💨 The skates arrived in 2 days with zero issues about the shipping address. Now, about the Vapor 4X… they’re everything I hoped for. Perfect fit, super light, and incredibly responsive. I’m beyond happy with these rollers."
